Runaway guns were an issue in the late 80’s and early 90’s but were due to calibration problems and did not fire. Its highly unlikely that cordite fired the weapons as stated, it might cause 1 or 2 rounds to fire but would not cause loading of rounds, an explosion is viable. This weapon has so many built in safety,s its not funny. I have fired, commanded, and instructed on these weapons for many years and have seen many things but nothing like that. However if this gun was indeed remoted, one must look at the firing device as the remote box does not have a fire button, only an arming switch.
