Curried Chick Peas and Tofu

Another Moosewood recipe (they can’t miss). This is my first time cooking tofu. I wasn’t too worried since I figured it would be easy to top the lukewarm bits you usually find floating in your miso. Even though I don’t really enjoy curry this was a good filling meal, not enough to make me come running back though.

I did a quick search to see if there is a modern web app serving cooks. I found BakeSpace and RecipeThing. Neither one looks like it has proper tagging, shopping list maintenance, wikized ingredients and preparation methods etc but I still need to explore further. I also found Yum for Mac. The recipe microformat is also being worked on. I think it would be neat to generate Cooking for Engineers recipe tables based on the XML. A note on CfE’s site says the format is patent pending, which is obnoxious.
